Michelle Muller was born in Ontario, Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Biotechnology (2011) and a Master of Science in Neuroscience from the University of British Columbia (2014).

Growing up on a farm, Michelle spent her early years immersed in movement—dancing and playing sports. While she always loved art, it wasn’t until she attended her first workshop with visionary artists Amanda Sage and Joebob Merritt at the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors (CoSM) in 2017 that she reconnected with painting. This sparked a deep passion that led her to further artistic study, including:

  • "Painting with Light" with Amanda Sage & Joebob Merritt in Costa Rica (2018) and at CoSM (2019)

  • A five-week trimester at the Vienna Academy of Visionary Art with Autumn Skye Morrison (2018)

  • A seven-day painting intensive with Alex and Allyson Grey at CoSM (2019)

  • "Technical Metaphysics of Oil Painting," "Visionary Art Techniques," and "Technical Traditions of Oil Painting" with David Heskin & Aloria Weaver (2021, 2022, 2024)

  • "Fantastic Realism" with Michael Fuchs (2021)

Beyond her artistic pursuits, Michelle has worked extensively in the fields of neuroscience, mental health, and movement therapy. Her career has included roles as a neuroscience researcher, science writer, neurofeedback technician, and mental health worker. She has attended international pharmaceutical research conferences across Europe, Brazil, Canada, and the U.S., deepening her understanding of the brain and creativity’s role in neuroplasticity and healing.

Michelle is also a passionate advocate of movement as a pathway to well-being. A near-death car accident in 2011, which left her with multiple fractures and chronic pain, led her to the Gyrokinesis and Gyrotonic methods. This discovery profoundly influenced her understanding of healing, inspiring her to study movement-based therapies. She has since volunteered over 150 hours in an intensive body-mind training program at Spiral Praxis in Toronto, creating movement programs for children and young adults with special needs. She also received certification to teach adapted yoga and has worked as a personal support worker for children and adults with disabilities.

Currently, Michelle is balancing her artistic practice with work as a substitute teacher for a Catholic school board. Teaching has reignited her passion for sharing knowledge and creativity, inspiring her to integrate art, movement, and education into her evolving journey.

A dedicated member of the Vision Train, Michelle has been an active conductor of this global interactive art movement since March 2020. This community continues to fuel her artistic evolution, connecting her with fellow artists who share a vision of creative expression and conscious transformation.

Through her art, movement, and teaching, Michelle Muller continues to explore the intersections of science, creativity, and healing, sharing her discoveries with the world.
